TEASER
INT. BOARDROOM - DEAN PELTON holds a meeting concerning a competing college's new space launch simulator. His solution - get their own simulator and do a fake launch first. He's nabbed an old 1980s space simulator built in the back of a Winnebago, sponsored by Kentucky Fried Chicken. It's now dirty and rough and needs a wash - luckily he has just the people for the job.
EXT. PARKING LOT - JEFF, BRITTA, ABED, SHIRLEY, ANNIE, TROY, and PIERCE walk in a "The Right Stuff" slow motion.

ACT ONE
EXT. PARKING LOT/INT. STUDY ROOM - The gang assembles in the parking lot. They're being made to wash the simulator as punishment for submitting a butt-hole for the school flag, which received the most votes. They all think Annie ratted them out. They're forbidden to go inside the simulator, that's for more upstanding students, who are practicing in the "simulator simulator" right now. Quick cut to the study room where PHIL the elderly student is seated in the cardboard simulator simulator. They have until three o'clock to clean up the simulator, the press will then arrive for the official fake launch. Annie tries to convince them all to go get coffee but Troy and Abed have already gone inside.
INT. SIMULATOR - Abed loves the simulator, he was forbidden to enter it as a child. Annie tries to get them all to leave. Abed leaves to go put on a more appropriate outfit. Annie denies tattling about the butt flag. Pierce snaps at Annie. He apologizes, he's claustrophobic. He accidentally locks them in. The simulator powers on and starts to move.
EXT. PARKING LOT - The simulator is towed off the handicapped parking spaces. Abed runs up in a space suit to find the simulator gone.
ACT TWO
EXT./INT. SPACE SIMULATOR/INT. STUDY ROOM - The simulator is towed through the city. Nobody inside can get a phone signal. Troy tries the simulator's control sticks, gets no results. The Dean raises them over the simulator's radio. In the study room, Abed tells the Dean that completing the simulation will open the simulator's window, letting the group inside find out where they are. The Dean asks Abed to talk the gang through the simulation.
EXT. SIMULATOR - The simulator is towed out of the city.
INT. SIMULATOR - Troy passes on the info that they can open the window if they man the simulator's stations and work together. Jeff tries to bust open the window instead, fails. Troy tries to pull rank and tell Jeff to man his station - Jeff says the only way Troy got his "rank" was by sitting in the chair with the biggest knobs. Pierce starts to freak out, he thinks the computer is taunting him and that Troy is giving the computer life-force. Pierce attacks Troy.
INT. STUDY ROOM - Abed has a team of students assembled, going over KFC manuals. The Dean brings in a map so they can figure out how far away the simulator can be towed before it's too far for them to tow it back in time for the presentation at three o'clock.
INT. SIMULATOR/INT. STUDY ROOM - The simulator is no longer being towed. They lock crazy Pierce in the back. Annie slips and has to admit that she is the reason the simulator was towed - she made a deal with the competing school's dean to sabotage the simulator in exchange for a transfer, she doesn't want to be a part of a school that the group continually mocks. That's why she kept trying to get them all to leave. The idea of another school sabotaging their school brings the group together - Greendale may be a toilet, but it's their toilet, and nobody craps in it but them. Jeff has Troy take the captain's chair. They complete the ridiculously easy simulation. The window opens, they find themselves in the country.
ACT THREE
INT. SIMULATOR - The group reminisce about what they like about Greendale. They apologize to Annie for making her choose between her friends and her school. Jeff admits he was the one who tattled about the butt-flag. Pierce seems okay, they let him out. He attacks the computer's video monitor and rips it out, revealing a hole into the Winnebago's driving compartment.
INT. STUDY ROOM - The other school's COMPETING DEAN enters to mock Dean Pelton. Jeff radios in that they're bringing the simulator back.
EXT. FIELD/INT. SIMULATOR - The simulator zooms across the field.
EXT. GREENDALE/INT. SIMULATOR/INT. STUDY ROOM - The press has gathered outside. Abed guides the simulator back to the school. They screech into the parking lot. Annie opens the simulator's door from the outside. Pierce runs off screaming like a madman. The gang is applauded as they emerge. Annie snubs the Competing Dean. Jeff congratulates Troy on his captainship. Abed no longer desires to go back in the simulator, it can't be as cool as what he's done today. The simulator catches fire as Dean Pelton proudly waves Greendale's new butt-hole flag.
ACT FOUR
EXT. SPACE! - Troy and Abed play in cardboard spaceships.
